Coastal Community Builders is pleased to announce SLO Ranch Farms and Marketplace coming soon! SLO Ranch Farms will see the fulfillment of the commercial plaza, Agricultural Heritage Center, and 40 acre organic farm at San Luis Ranch.
SLO Ranch Farms passed a major milestone with the unanimous approval from the Planning Commission on October 27, 2021. Coastal Community Builders has worked closely with city staff and respected consultants to develop a thoughtful, cohesive, and articulate plan for the development of the San Luis Ranch Agricultural Heritage Center. The project also previously received unanimous support from the Cultural Heritage Committee and Architecture Review Committee.
SLO Ranch Farms and Marketplace will be the place to be for the authentic San Luis farm to table experience. The plaza will consist of a mix of restaurants and eateries, beer, wine and distillery tastings, retail shopping, and family entertainment. It will also feature the rehabilitated historic Wood Residence open to the public with interpretive exhibits.
The center is designed as a family friendly gathering space complete with outdoor dining, fire pits, bocce ball, and a small stage. Capping off the experience is the adjacent 40 acre working organic farm which will feature interactive components such as you pick berries, pumpkin patch, petting zoo, and tractor rides.
Construction is expected to begin in Spring 2022 and completion in summer 2023.
